Workshop: Creating Accessible Online Content: Text, Documents, Images, and Video
At Rutgers, we strive to welcome all people and invite them to attend, participate, and learn without barriers. This workshop is intended to be an introduction to the main concepts of accessibility and to provide practical examples of how you can make materials more accessible.
Objectives:
- Define disability & accessibility
- Demonstrate steps for creating accessible documents (MS Word, PD) and videos (Kaltura)
- Discuss guidelines for & best practices for creating accessible content
- Review accessibility tools and resources for further understanding of the topic
