Workshop: Rutgers Seeing Eye Puppy Raising Club (RUSEPRC)
In celebration of World Blindness Awareness Month, join us for an enlightening demonstration by the Rutgers Seeing Eye Puppy Raising Club (RUSEPRC)! This engaging session will provide you with an in-depth understanding of:
- The history and mission of The Seeing Eye, Inc., a national nonprofit dedicated to giving blind individuals independence and dignity through the use of service dogs
- The rigorous training process for future guide dogs
- The role and responsibilities of puppy raisers on campus
- Demonstrations of the puppies' training commands
- An opportunity to ask questions and interact with the puppies
